ChinaMira is a China-based travel studio for travellers who want to understand the country, not just photograph it. We design private journeys and small-group departures across the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan — and we are on the ground when you travel.
The name
Mira: to look at something wonderful
In Latin, mira means wonders; in Spanish, mira means look — to gaze at something and take it in. Both meanings describe what we want travellers to do in China: look properly at a country whose scale and depth reward attention.
Our logo carries that idea: two mountain peaks rising out of water, the landscape that shaped the Chinese imagination for centuries — and the landscape most visitors remember longest.
